- Dec 30, 2021 · 3 years agoIt can be frustrating when your 2FA is not working properly. One possible reason could be that you have entered the wrong code or the code has expired. Make sure you are entering the correct code generated by your authenticator app and that it is still valid. If the problem persists, try disabling and re-enabling 2FA for your account. This can sometimes resolve any syncing issues between your device and the authentication server.

Ensure that your device's time is set to automatic or manually adjust it to the correct time zone. If the problem persists, reach out to the customer support of your cryptocurrency exchange for further assistance.

Sometimes, the issue may not be with your device or the codes, but with the exchange itself. Some exchanges may experience temporary technical glitches that can affect the functionality of 2FA. In such cases, it's best to wait for a while and try again later. If the problem persists, you can contact the customer support of your exchange for more information.

Outdated software can sometimes cause compatibility issues. If that doesn't solve the problem, try reinstalling the authenticator app and setting up 2FA again. Remember to securely store your backup codes in case you need them. If all else fails, contact the support team of your cryptocurrency exchange for further assistance.
