- Dec 27, 2021 · 3 years agoOne possible reason for a GPU not displaying anything in a cryptocurrency mining setup could be a faulty connection. Make sure that the GPU is properly connected to the motherboard and that all power cables are securely plugged in. Additionally, check if the GPU is seated correctly in the PCIe slot. Sometimes, a loose connection can cause display issues.
- Dec 27, 2021 · 3 years agoAnother reason could be a driver issue. Ensure that you have installed the latest drivers for your GPU. Sometimes, outdated or incompatible drivers can prevent the GPU from displaying anything. Try reinstalling the drivers or updating them to see if it resolves the problem.
- Dec 27, 2021 · 3 years agoAt BYDFi, we have seen cases where a GPU not displaying anything in a cryptocurrency mining setup is due to insufficient power supply. Cryptocurrency mining can be power-intensive, and if your power supply unit (PSU) is not providing enough power to the GPU, it may not function properly. Check if your PSU has enough wattage to support all the GPUs in your mining rig. Consider upgrading to a higher wattage PSU if necessary.
