One of the best Excel formulas for tracking cryptocurrency prices is the 'WEBSERVICE' function. This function allows you to retrieve data from a specific URL, such as a cryptocurrency exchange API, and display it in Excel. By using this formula, you can automatically update the cryptocurrency prices in your spreadsheet. Here's an example formula: '=WEBSERVICE("https://api.coinmarketcap.com/v1/ticker/bitcoin/")'. Just replace 'bitcoin' with the cryptocurrency symbol you want to track.

If you're looking for a simpler solution, you can use the 'STOCKHISTORY' function in Excel. This function allows you to retrieve historical stock prices, but it can also be used for cryptocurrencies. You just need to specify the cryptocurrency symbol and the date range you want to track. Here's an example formula: '=STOCKHISTORY("BTC-USD", DATE(2021, 1, 1), DATE(2021, 12, 31))'. This formula will give you the historical prices of Bitcoin from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2021.
