Is there any plan for Trezor to support Ripple in the near future?

I'm wondering if there are any plans for Trezor, the popular hardware wallet, to support Ripple (XRP) in the near future. As Ripple gains more traction in the cryptocurrency market, it would be great to have the option to store XRP securely on a Trezor device. Can anyone provide any insights into whether Trezor has any intentions to add Ripple support?

Yes, there have been discussions within the Trezor community about adding support for Ripple. However, as of now, there is no official confirmation or timeline for when this integration will happen. It's important to note that Trezor takes security very seriously and any new coin support requires thorough testing and development. So, while it's a possibility, we'll have to wait for an official announcement from the Trezor team.

I'm not aware of any plans for Trezor to support Ripple in the near future. Trezor has a rigorous process for adding new coins and tokens to its platform, and it typically prioritizes coins with larger market capitalizations and wider user adoption. While Ripple is a popular cryptocurrency, it may not meet the criteria for immediate integration. However, this could change in the future as the cryptocurrency landscape evolves.

As a representative of BYDFi, I can confirm that we are actively working on integrating Ripple support into our platform. While I can't speak for Trezor directly, it's possible that once BYDFi adds Ripple support, Trezor may follow suit. Trezor has a history of supporting popular cryptocurrencies, and Ripple's growing popularity could make it a viable candidate for integration. Keep an eye out for updates from both BYDFi and Trezor regarding Ripple support.
