I recently used TurboTax Deluxe to file my taxes, but I was surprised to see that they charged me an additional fee for filing my state taxes. I've been getting more involved in cryptocurrency lately, and I'm wondering if there's a way I can avoid this fee by using cryptocurrency instead. Is it possible to pay my state taxes using cryptocurrency and bypass TurboTax Deluxe's charges?

- Dec 27, 2021 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, at the moment, TurboTax Deluxe does not offer the option to pay state taxes using cryptocurrency. They only accept traditional payment methods such as credit cards or bank transfers. However, it's worth noting that some states are exploring the possibility of accepting cryptocurrency for tax payments in the future. So, while you can't avoid TurboTax Deluxe's charges right now, keep an eye out for any updates on cryptocurrency tax payments in your state.
- Dec 27, 2021 · 3 years agoNope, TurboTax Deluxe doesn't support cryptocurrency payments for state taxes. They're pretty old school when it comes to payment methods. You'll have to stick with the traditional options like credit cards or bank transfers. But hey, who knows? Maybe in the future, they'll catch up with the times and start accepting crypto. Until then, you're stuck with the regular fees.
