I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer funds from Zelle, a popular peer-to-peer payment service in the US, to a Canadian cryptocurrency exchange. Can Zelle be used to send money to a Canadian exchange and purchase cryptocurrencies?

- Dec 26, 2021 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, Zelle is only available for domestic transfers within the United States. It does not support international transfers, including transfers to Canadian cryptocurrency exchanges. If you're looking to transfer funds to a Canadian exchange, you'll need to explore other options such as wire transfers or using a different payment service that supports international transfers.
- Dec 26, 2021 · 3 years agoNope, Zelle doesn't work for Canadian cryptocurrency exchanges. It's limited to US domestic transfers only. If you're in Canada and want to fund your account on a Canadian exchange, you'll need to find an alternative method like Interac e-Transfer or a wire transfer.
- Dec 26, 2021 · 3 years agoAs an expert in the field, I can confirm that Zelle cannot be used to transfer funds to a Canadian cryptocurrency exchange. Zelle is strictly for domestic transfers within the US. However, there are other options available for Canadians, such as using Interac e-Transfer or wire transfers, to fund their accounts on Canadian exchanges like BYDFi.
