- Dec 27, 2021 · 3 years agoYes, it is possible to switch from being a taker to a maker on GDAX. As a taker, you are placing orders that are immediately filled, while as a maker, you are providing liquidity to the market by placing limit orders. To make this transition, you simply need to start placing limit orders instead of market orders. By doing so, you will be charged lower fees and potentially earn rebates for adding liquidity to the market.
- Dec 27, 2021 · 3 years agoAbsolutely! You can switch from being a taker to a maker on GDAX by adjusting your trading strategy. Instead of placing market orders, which are executed immediately, you can place limit orders that are added to the order book. By doing so, you become a maker and contribute to the liquidity of the market. This not only reduces your trading fees but also allows you to earn rebates for providing liquidity. So go ahead and start placing those limit orders!
- Dec 27, 2021 · 3 years agoYes, it is definitely possible to switch from being a taker to a maker on GDAX. In fact, many traders prefer to be makers because it offers them certain advantages. By placing limit orders, you can set the price at which you want to buy or sell, and your order will be added to the order book. This helps to create a more liquid market and can result in lower fees and even rebates. So if you're looking to reduce your trading costs and potentially earn some extra rewards, switching from being a taker to a maker on GDAX is a great option.
