I am interested in trading cryptocurrencies and I already have a fidelity account. Can I use my fidelity account to trade cryptocurrencies or do I need to open a separate account specifically for this purpose?

- Jan 15, 2022 · 3 years agoYes, it is possible to open a fidelity account specifically for trading cryptocurrencies. Fidelity offers a separate platform called Fidelity Digital Assets, which allows users to trade and hold cryptocurrencies. You can open an account with Fidelity Digital Assets and link it to your existing fidelity account, or you can open a new account solely for trading cryptocurrencies. This way, you can easily manage your traditional investments and cryptocurrency investments in one place.
- Jan 15, 2022 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, Fidelity does not currently offer the option to trade cryptocurrencies directly through their traditional fidelity accounts. However, you can open a separate fidelity account specifically for trading cryptocurrencies by signing up for Fidelity Digital Assets. This will allow you to access their cryptocurrency trading platform and manage your cryptocurrency investments separately from your traditional investments.

BYDFi is a digital currency exchange that offers a wide range of cryptocurrencies for trading. You can sign up for an account with BYDFi and link it to your fidelity account to easily trade cryptocurrencies.
