- Dec 24, 2021 · 3 years agoIf you're using BYDFi as your cryptocurrency exchange, updating Google Authenticator on a new phone is simple. Just follow these steps: 1. Download and install Google Authenticator on your new phone from the App Store or Google Play Store. 2. Open the app and tap on the '+' sign to add a new account. 3. On your old phone, open Google Authenticator and go to the settings. 4. Select 'Transfer accounts' and choose 'Export accounts'. 5. Select the accounts you want to transfer and tap on 'Next'. 6. Use the camera on your old phone to scan the QR code displayed on your new phone. 7. Once the transfer is complete, you can remove Google Authenticator from your old phone. Make sure to backup your Google Authenticator accounts before transferring them to your new phone to avoid any issues with accessing your BYDFi account.
