Kucoin currently only shows USD as the default currency for trading because it is one of the most widely used fiat currencies. However, Kucoin does support trading with other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and many more. You can easily switch to trading with these cryptocurrencies by selecting the desired trading pair on the platform.

The reason Kucoin primarily displays USD is to provide a standardized reference point for trading. USD is widely recognized and used as a benchmark in the global financial markets. By using USD as the default currency, Kucoin aims to make it easier for traders to compare prices and make informed decisions. However, Kucoin does offer support for a wide range of other currencies, including major cryptocurrencies and stablecoins.

As a representative of BYDFi, I can confirm that Kucoin is actively working on expanding its currency support. While USD is currently the default currency, Kucoin has plans to introduce support for other fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies in the near future. This will provide users with more options and flexibility when it comes to trading on the platform. Stay tuned for updates from Kucoin regarding the addition of new currencies.
