- Dec 30, 2021 · 3 years agoNFTs, or non-fungible tokens, are unique digital assets that represent ownership or proof of authenticity of a specific item or piece of content. Unlike other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum, which are fungible and can be exchanged on a one-to-one basis, NFTs cannot be exchanged for another token of equal value. Each NFT has a distinct value and cannot be replicated or replaced.
- Dec 30, 2021 · 3 years agoNFTs are revolutionizing the digital art market by allowing artists to sell their work directly to buyers, without the need for intermediaries like galleries or auction houses. This gives artists more control over their work and allows them to earn royalties from future sales. In contrast, other cryptocurrencies are primarily used as a medium of exchange or store of value, and do not have the same level of uniqueness or scarcity as NFTs.
