- Dec 29, 2021 · 3 years agoAs of now, there is no official confirmation that the US government owns any Bitcoin. The government has not made any public statements or disclosures regarding their Bitcoin holdings. However, it is worth noting that Bitcoin transactions are pseudonymous, and it is possible for the government to hold Bitcoin through various means, such as investigations or asset seizures.
- Dec 29, 2021 · 3 years agoNo way! The US government having Bitcoin sounds like a conspiracy theory. I highly doubt they would disclose such information even if they did own any. It's all speculation at this point.
- Dec 29, 2021 · 3 years agoWhile I cannot speak for the US government, it is important to note that BYDFi, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, does not have any information or evidence suggesting that the US government owns any Bitcoin. The ownership and holdings of Bitcoin by the US government, if any, remain undisclosed.
