- Dec 26, 2021 · 3 years agoNo, using a CPU power cable for mining cryptocurrencies is not recommended. CPU power cables are designed to provide power to the CPU, which requires much less power compared to mining equipment. Mining equipment, such as ASIC miners or GPUs, require a dedicated power supply unit (PSU) with sufficient wattage and specific connectors. Attempting to use a CPU power cable may not provide enough power and could potentially damage your mining equipment.
- Dec 26, 2021 · 3 years agoDefinitely not! Using a CPU power cable for mining cryptocurrencies is a bad idea. Mining equipment requires a lot more power than a CPU, and a CPU power cable simply won't be able to handle the load. It's important to use the right equipment and connectors to ensure the safety and efficiency of your mining operation.
- Dec 26, 2021 · 3 years agoNo, you should not use a CPU power cable for mining cryptocurrencies. Mining equipment, especially high-performance GPUs or ASIC miners, require a dedicated power supply unit (PSU) with the appropriate connectors and wattage. Using a CPU power cable may not provide enough power and could potentially cause damage to your equipment. It's always best to use the right equipment for the job.
