- Dec 26, 2021 · 3 years agoUsing your internet bill as proof of address when buying/selling cryptocurrencies may vary depending on the exchange you're using. Some exchanges may accept it as a valid proof of address, while others may require more official documents such as utility bills or bank statements. It's best to check with the specific exchange you're planning to use to see what documents they accept as proof of address.
- Dec 26, 2021 · 3 years agoIn most cases, an internet bill may not be considered a strong proof of address when buying/selling cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrency exchanges often require documents that are more official and widely accepted, such as utility bills, bank statements, or government-issued documents like a driver's license or passport. These documents provide a higher level of authenticity and are less likely to be questioned by the exchange.
- Dec 26, 2021 · 3 years agoAt BYDFi, we accept a wide range of documents as proof of address, including internet bills. However, it's important to note that using an internet bill as proof of address may not be accepted by all exchanges. It's always recommended to check the specific requirements of the exchange you're using to ensure your documents meet their criteria.
- Dec 26, 2021 · 3 years agoWhile an internet bill can be used as proof of address in some cases, it may not be universally accepted by all cryptocurrency exchanges. It's advisable to consult the exchange's guidelines or contact their customer support to confirm whether they accept internet bills as proof of address. Additionally, they may require additional documents such as bank statements or government-issued IDs for verification purposes.
