I'm new to trx and I'm wondering whether trx addresses are case-sensitive or not. Can I send trx to an address with different capitalization and still receive it? I want to make sure I don't lose any trx due to a simple capitalization mistake.

- Dec 24, 2021 · 3 years agoYes, trx addresses are case-sensitive. You need to make sure that the capitalization of the address you are sending trx to matches exactly with the recipient's address. Even a small difference in capitalization can result in the trx being sent to the wrong address and you may lose your trx forever. So, always double-check the address before sending trx.
- Dec 24, 2021 · 3 years agoAbsolutely! Trx addresses are case-sensitive, which means that even a slight difference in capitalization will result in a different address. So, if you send trx to an address with different capitalization, it will be considered as a completely different address and you won't receive the trx. It's always better to be cautious and pay attention to the capitalization when dealing with trx addresses.
- Dec 24, 2021 · 3 years agoYes, trx addresses are indeed case-sensitive. It's important to remember that trx addresses are alphanumeric and consist of both uppercase and lowercase letters. Even a single letter in the wrong case can result in the trx being sent to the wrong address. So, it's crucial to double-check the address and ensure that the capitalization matches exactly with the recipient's address to avoid any loss of trx.
