- Jan 13, 2022 · 3 years agoYes, you can use your Schwab account for cryptocurrency activities. Schwab allows you to buy and sell cryptocurrencies through their platform. However, it's important to note that Schwab currently only supports trading Bitcoin and Ethereum. If you're interested in trading other cryptocurrencies, you may need to use a different exchange. As for fees, Schwab charges a commission fee for each cryptocurrency trade, similar to their fees for traditional stock trades. Additionally, Schwab requires you to meet certain eligibility criteria and complete a separate application process to enable cryptocurrency trading on your account.

- Jan 13, 2022 · 3 years agoYes, you can use your Schwab account for cryptocurrency activities. However, please note that Schwab does not directly offer cryptocurrency trading services. Instead, you can use your Schwab account to invest in Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) or Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE), which are investment vehicles that hold Bitcoin and Ethereum respectively. These trusts are traded on the OTC markets and can be bought and sold through your Schwab account. If you're looking for a wider range of cryptocurrencies, you may need to consider using a different exchange like BYDFi, which offers a variety of digital assets for trading.
