- Dec 25, 2021 · 3 years agoThis issue with Robinhood not displaying margin in your buying power when buying cryptocurrencies can be frustrating. One possible solution is to contact Robinhood's customer support and explain the problem to them. They may be able to provide you with a solution or offer assistance in resolving the issue. Additionally, you can try logging out of your Robinhood account and logging back in to see if that refreshes the buying power display. If these steps don't work, it's recommended to reach out to Robinhood directly for further assistance.
- Dec 25, 2021 · 3 years agoI've encountered this issue before and found a workaround that might help. Try closing the Robinhood app completely and then reopening it. Sometimes, the display issue is just a temporary glitch that can be fixed by restarting the app. If that doesn't work, you can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if it resolves the problem. Remember to make sure you have your login credentials handy before uninstalling the app. Give these steps a try and hopefully, your buying power display will show the margin when buying cryptocurrencies.
- Dec 25, 2021 · 3 years agoAs an expert at BYDFi, I can tell you that this issue is not specific to Robinhood. Many cryptocurrency exchanges have experienced similar display issues with margin not being shown in the buying power. It's important to understand that the buying power display is not always accurate due to various factors, including market volatility and margin requirements. To ensure you have a clear understanding of your available buying power, it's recommended to refer to your account balance and margin requirements separately. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to reach out to the customer support of your chosen exchange for clarification.
