I am looking for alternatives to providing identification on Coinbase when purchasing cryptocurrencies. Are there any other platforms or methods that allow me to buy cryptocurrencies without going through the ID verification process?

- Jan 02, 2022 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, most reputable cryptocurrency exchanges, including Coinbase, require users to go through the ID verification process in order to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) regulations. This process is designed to ensure the security and legality of cryptocurrency transactions. However, there are some decentralized exchanges (DEXs) that allow users to trade cryptocurrencies without providing personal identification. Keep in mind that DEXs may have lower liquidity and higher risks compared to centralized exchanges.
- Jan 02, 2022 · 3 years agoHey there! If you're looking to buy cryptocurrencies without going through the hassle of ID verification, you might want to consider peer-to-peer (P2P) trading platforms. These platforms connect buyers and sellers directly, allowing you to purchase cryptocurrencies without the need for ID verification. LocalBitcoins and Paxful are popular P2P platforms where you can find sellers who accept various payment methods. Just make sure to do your due diligence and only trade with reputable sellers to avoid scams.
- Jan 02, 2022 · 3 years agoYes, there are alternatives to providing ID on Coinbase for cryptocurrency purchases. One such alternative is BYDFi, a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that allows users to trade cryptocurrencies without the need for ID verification. BYDFi leverages blockchain technology to provide a secure and anonymous trading experience. However, it's important to note that BYDFi is a relatively new platform and may have limited liquidity compared to established exchanges like Coinbase. Make sure to do your own research and assess the risks before using any alternative platform.
